To the Ocean

To the Ocean
by me(whatever)
to: School Food Punishment- Beer Trip

Today too, in your locker,
a shattered piece of rain
leaks down the shelves and wets your sleeves
as you were waiting for a message.

Telephone poles point to the sky,
on your way home holding a useless umbrella.
remembering the last words they spoke,
piling up, accumulating, gathering together like snow.

I want to forget my body,
and let only my essence escape
in a sunny blue day with no worries.
It's just foolishness.

The last stop on the train,
and you clutch your bag a little tighter.
3,4,5, days it's been, and a cold day in March,
you throw away your school supplies down the empty well.

Let's go to the ocean.
Just you and me,
like when you begged me that one, last time.
Let's go to the ocean,
Let's go to the ocean.

Let's go to the ocean,
forget our mistakes,
see the sun reflect on the water.
Let's go to the ocean.
walk along the sand with our shoes in our hands.

I want to find the line where heart and logic connect,
and cut away all the secrets we hid there.
Bicycling along a path lined in 3-leaf clovers,
like the ones you'd collect in your soda bottles.

A's marked vertically, as though trying to prove something,
ash floats to the surface of the bowl.
glances from the teachers, tight conversations,
the janitor's bucket spilled down the stairs.

If I could travel back in time,
If I could return the books you let me borrow.
today too, all of these what-if stories
will rain on the leaky roof above my head.

So let's go to the ocean,
Just you and me,
to the place you wanted to go,
Let's go to the ocean,
Let's go to the ocean.

Let's go to the ocean,
forget our regrets,
where the waves will carry us,
Let's go to the ocean,
I won't forget you, no, not ever.

Let's go to the ocean,
Only you and me,
and I'll give you a little taste of hope,
so let's go to the ocean,
Let's go to the ocean.

Futuristic Imagination

I don't know what it is, but I always end up coming back to this song. I heard it again last night, and I just had to post it here. I already posted it last year on Sugar Grains, and here I am with it again.
This song is also the ending to Eden of the East. It has an interesting paper animation to go with it. If you want to see it, here's a link: Eden of the East ED.

Though Maybe I...

I'm sick right now. Not so much physically, as mentally. Everything feels so wrong when the outside is already healed and the inside left raw. I'm just a tad crazy, I'll admit it. I think too many things for my own better judgement and hurt everything else and hide in every place even when there's no need. My right eye is bruised. Literary. When I look right or left I can feel the purple start to swell in pain, though the pain is just tiny, isn't that the same as the importance of a pinkie? The Japanese have a small little well-known myth sort of thing that your pinkie has an invisible red string attached to it, and at the other end is your soul mate. So what is the importance of a pinkie? What is the importance of a bruised eye? What is this, directions from your English teacher? On a piece of paper? Why am I thinking of school when it's spring break? I want to break something. Don't you ever feel like that? That story from five years ago. I still haven't written it yet. I keep renewing the beginnings. Did you know you can figure a persons personality by simply going through their trash? Am I simply a plagiarizer? Or a "Borrower"? I write my own things, however the ideas are always altered by something that does not belong to me. Am I really an individual? I'll just keep quiet and listen for now.

Though....

I still am unprepared to meet it. Though I can't see how I appear to others, I know that person is a fake. Impersonators really get through just to get accepted. I'm a hypocrite, but I can't help but hate that candy for the exact same thing I do. So how come so many people are behind me, but I'm all alone? I promised I would remember everything when I was smaller. But I've already forgotten. You could never understand that persons position in things, and ....perception. I still speak in forgotten code, hey, can you hear it? From that invisible door behind you? Someone you once knew is trying to bang out, but although you pity them, they are dangerous. You could never open all the pieces of the jigsaw puzzle. The final picture is too frightening. So you go on, creating pieces that don't even fit, but you hope they will in the future. Yet you know that's a lie. Everything you meet and are could be a lie.

Maybe...

The past will not repeat, I will have to stop that river with winter. I will block it with ice, and travel all the way over it to the other side. Though there's no such thing as greener on the other side, it will at least be a change. Will I leave that person behind, or become the same? Does it even matter? I have a mission to find the other one. I am constantly stepping front and back. Most are sideways. I love darker stories. They hold more truth, but that truth is made from a lie. So who are you? Answer me quickly, don't keep me there all day. Just to get the most basic frame of your lines. You'll never get to the middle, after-all. Salty water perhaps holds the answer, but it's undrinkable. My Fiction Nonfiction will not turn the knob until it disintegrates. Can you see it? You don't want to repeat this do you? Well, I'll tell you something. If you stay where you are, you'll be left behind. Very Violet Vapor. Studying something you can't understand the basics of. How fun. The best sarcasm is when you make in indistinguishable from normality, or so I thought. Will you play hide and seek with me?

I...

Falling, Autumn World

I haven't written in so long, and so many things have happened! I had a concert on Monday, had a lot of stupid homework, and forgot to write about fall break. I play the clarinet, and am pretty good in my opinion. The concert was awesome! I saw one of my friends from high-school (a year older than me) there. It was the end of the term this week, and I was swamped in homework. I still am too. I just don't want to do it. Fall break last week was pretty interesting, though a little weird. I went to my sisters concert, slept over at my Granny's house, and spent the rest of the time driving around in the car watching for yard sales. That was the exhausting part.

So here I have some new music for you! They're hard to find, but I love them. I wish I could show you all my favorite songs, but here's my very very favorite from them: Autumn Leaves- Searching For. It's actually English, which is unusual for me at least. I usually listen to Japanese music. But whatever. Another good one from them is Autumn leaves- I believe. My favorite songs are from the "Shake it!" Album. Very cute.

Change the World
written Thurs. 10/27/11
By Me

Tomorrow, perhaps I'll be on time,
to those mysteries that are never solved,
and give them my stubborn opinion,
watching their facades become dissolved.

My whole life revolves around,
contradicting everything from A-to-Z,
Though, even when I agree with you,
I feel something's bigger to see.

So, How well do you know the back of your hand?,
Do you even have time to notice it?,
I wonder when that smile became pasted on your face,
because it won't become lit?

I'm going to change this world now!
I can't wait till I give up again,
Ripping opinions up till there's nothing left,
I'll charge when I count to ten!

I've always broken things then recreated them,
and sometimes left them the way they are.
And this is when I become the future,
The nebula I've created will become a star!

A melody created of blurry swirls,
sweeps away genuine imagination,
So keep yourself clear and awake,
Here is my miracle mission!:

I will change the world!!!!

Fish Schools to the freezing Sea's

School has started, and it's more tiresome than I remember from 3 months ago. I'm hoping I'll get used to it.  Some of my teachers are penguins, and others are bald-headed, but most of them are just the same.  Anyways, I have some random music for you as always.  If you know about vocaloids, then you have probably heard this song before.  Saihate is a very beautiful piece of sadness.  What I found here on YouTube, however is a ukulele version with a cover voice by someone. I think I might like it better than the original. The piano version in the suggestions is also very mentionable.

Have you ever heard of a band named School Food Punishment? For their name, they actually have some serious songs. They are not to be messed around with. I like Butterfly Swimmer, and Sea-Through Communication. I wrote the poem underneath listening to Butterfly Swimmer, so the best way to read it is to listen to the song(while reading). I also like Futuristic Imagination and Light Prayer.  I'm tired.

Snowy Sea 8/25/11

Threw in by tidal moons,
and running as fast as you can,
your cold, visible breath sinks in the sky;
following the wind-blowing fan.

I remember a feeling called love,
I remember, because I want to change.
Swimming in that freezing aura,
I let go when I was in range.

It's not by chance I am here now,
though I stumble in puddled footsteps
quivering like ripples inside-out,
feeling white rain drop into depths.
