Hypothesis
by me(whatever)
to: 夜明けと蛍
It's a story from long ago,
and it's not as though we're still the same.
There's not even a way for us
to touch the past without these worthless words.
Burns from the snow, leaking eyes from
stars that are too bright, too vibrant.
Even the theories you made-up about you, me, them,
is an empty well dried up in history.
There isn't a point in dwelling like this,
even if it's to try and understand what went wrong.
the more you flail and scream, the closer the pain will be.
I know this.
There's no such thing as someone who isn't human,
all fallen and drowned under hopeless motivations.
beyond the barrier, in the green, green grass
there's still no way for you to escape yourself.
When morning comes, on a day faraway from now,
I hope that even in the way I think, you'll be a stranger.
But for now, walk on, walk on, walk on,
hand-in-hand with your philosophy.

Close to You
Close to You
by me(whatever)
to: Close to You (guitar Justin Ly)
& Close to You (V flower cover)
Beyond the Earth is a single flower,
blooming 600 light years away from here.
I clenched my farewells in my wet palm
as your slowing voice echoed in my ear.
"thank you" "goodbye" "I'm sorry",
we drown over our heads in the rain that falls.
separating me from you,
I look up at the sky, and attempt to climb those gray walls.
there was too much to say,
there was too much I didn't understand.
Cassiopeia bursts a crack in the eggshell sphere,
and tells me to hold your hand.
"goodbye", I knew the meaning,
"never", I knew that too.
A spiral spinning in the galaxy,
this is all so I can be close to you.
From the sidewalk outside the hospital,
to the tiles inside the hallways of a high school,
aligning with the calm of polaris,
without even a wave in the night pool.
my voice won't reach, my eyes can't see,
600 light years away to where you've gone.
searching for your smile, there is a garden
blooming for you in the depths of dawn.
"goodbye", I knew how to close my eyes,
"never", I knew how to silence my voice.
a bouquet spinning in the blue,
this is all so I can be close to you.

Farewell
Farewell
by me(whatever)
to: Miku- Goodbye April doppel
breath came out in clouds,
wafted up to the milky way.
And disappearing, it asked a question,
"Is anyone there?"
it said.
without seeing the shape,
shadow spilled on the snow.
crunching steps, and all of a sudden, silence,
"Is anything beyond here?"
it said.
fumbling the layers of a coat,
wind spills dust as it rushes through.
shivering from where it's been, it murmurs quietly,
"Can even you not see me?"
it said.

to Campanella (akane_madder)
On the surface of a smooth planet,
gripping and felling the iron works
dents and scrapes and sparking wires
a ball of outer stars
slipping and falling
landing, stalling.
If it was blue within and without,
the digital process viewing windows
there was a dream far away
a snail in the milky way
gliding and singing
straddling, clinging.
Childish paper airplane
compensation at the tolling
black and curling and fading
a crumpled up message
living and wishing
dying, missing.

Crossroads
by me(whatever)
to Waltz of anomalies
cross roads,
four ways,
five points
red drawn,
walpurgis night.
deep sea moon,
crooked arm
black eyed stars
crackled laugh
the sacrifice.
"The wager must be your own."
uneven gait
dirtied poppet
mothers frayed dress
unconscious dead
incantations...
eyes, ears, nose, hands, tongue
ripping them apart
the blue iron brand
in a ring of blood
oblivion.

to starduster
Unable to depend on anyone,
and unable to feel loved,
I ran a million miles away
to the temperature in the milky way.
Always selfish, and always in pain,
enveloped in their screaming.
I stared at the gap between the evening lights,
silently wishing to disappear.
I don't exist at all,
drowning in this upside down ocean.
throwing myself away in the nebula,
I'm turning to ice.
hidden in the darkness,
floating weightless in the air.
I don't even know their names,
billions and billions and billions.
there's no one else,
the vapor seeps from my mouth.
show me something untarnished,
in this world like scrap paper.
somehow I left behind,
my beloved on the other side.
like this, my body is just sleeping,
waiting and waiting and waiting.
cold hands, cold cheeks, cold ears,
even my blood has turned blue.
Not a single thing is left,
except for the stars in the sky.

Snow Globe
by me(whatever)
to Sky Fish
distortion rules in this claustrophobic space,
I wish on my 154 shooting stars.
In another time, in another place,
to extend beyond these bars.
There's a snowman who always smiles,
never responding, and never changing.
yet far and beyond, miles and miles,
those words are exchanging.
white and white and white,
winter in the bottled clear sea.
my hands attached too, too tight
on a sleigh that won't come free.
this color is painted,
drowning, artificial?, alive?,
the blue out there is tainted,
waiting for your mind to revive.
A castle of glass on the other side,
solely I remain in this kingdom.
a crown only the lonely have tried,
where you have everything but freedom.

Astronaut
Astronaut
by me(whatever)
to Astronauts- piano arrange
Remembering what I left behind,
on this tiny, claustrophobic Earth
I took a look from the corner of my memory,
trying to define my worth.
I've escaped 10,000 years away,
waving a white flag in a place
so cold and dark and lonely,
for it's always night in space.
I've sung my songs here,
yet why does no one hear me?
I've beaten the cage upside down,
yet why can I still not find the key?
In the door beyond the boundary,
I took the spaceship to the stars.
I love you
I loved you,
but could you ever see my scars?
It hurt
It hurts
It's hurting.
All those words and unanswered letters,
in a springtime at the end of the world.
Final message,
final messages,
my banner is unfurled.
In a heart as cratered as the moon,
I stood there losing oxygen.
would you stand here with me,
just one more time again?
Drowning,
I'm sure we're all drowning.
Sailing alone in the milky way,
with the feelings who were cast away.
where am I going?
where did I go?
To a destination where I can't see anyone,
dark in the fields aglow.
I loved you,
I love you.
in a book of constellations
I slipped and fell through.
Goodbye,
forever and ever.
Farewell,
never to never.
Remembering what I left behind,
on that tiny, claustrophobic Earth.
Your face slowly melts away,
waiting for my rebirth.

Campanella
Campanella
by me(whatever)
to Dear Future
within the pendulum of an unseen moon,
the world is eaten away.
To you, and to me,
we counted the number
back and forth,
the amount of stars hidden
behind our heads
is all I can remember.
the lines in the sidewalk,
control the squares in which we walk
I threw away an apple,
where the core was dried and shriveled.
sleep tight,
in a blanket full of fantasies, I said
"I've had enough of dreams"
On a life that keeps running,
I try to remember through every reflection
in the train window,
where Campanella disappeared to.
Cantarella,
unable to open your eyes,
listen to my voice,
listen to my voice.
"teach me to breathe underwater"
every word you spoke
lost within bubbles.
hand on the music box,
you replayed the melody.
as though catching herons,
your eyes darted back and forth.
The globes within the night,
I chase them across the map.
hearing voices at every turn
I tried to remember yours.
Already lost within the labyrinth,
I crawled past the festival of stars.
Back to the place you disappeared,
falling asleep in the darkened river.

Hills
Hills
by me(whatever)
to Ships in the Night
He held his breath,
he closed his eyes,
left fumbling through,
as they all said their goodbyes.
the phone calls stopped,
just like the letters on the steps.
His father wouldn't speak,
and the whole house wept.
There was Campanella,
waving his greetings far away.
No friends, no dreams,
as he drifted like a blue jay.
He ran out on the hills,
when it was night and full of stars.
He was quiet and sang a song,
a song of his caging bars.
Too many apologies,
too many tears shed.
Too many people alone,
too many words unsaid.
He couldn't stay and wait,
the world kept spinning on
He left in the middle of the morning,
before the sun was in the dawn.
He ran out on the mountains,
when it was day and full of light.
He was quiet and sang a song,
a song of how he could still fight.
Too many regrets,
too many wasted days,
Too many arguments,
too many people who won't stay.
He tried to find a way,
a way to survive.
He lived and lived and lived,
before he realized he was alive.
He ran back home,
to the abandoned house on the hills.
His father on the floor;
a life eaten in pills.
he kneeled on the roads,
running from the crashing sea.
He was swallowed by the whaling nights,
yet all he could do was flee.
It was him; only him,
all by himself in the drowning skies.

Propeller
Propeller
by me(whatever)
to astronauts
On the top of the world,
in the middle of the sky.
Among the clouds and airplanes,
there's a small girl.
All day she watches,
from her small square of floating island.
The colors of dawn, day, and dusk.
And her room is filled
with flying machines.
The company is a large dog,
no one else.
She opens her window,
and sings
So she won't forget her voice.
Drawing millions of designs,
the pictures of wings suspend her.
Sometimes, when a large gust comes,
they're blown away.
But she won't forget,
her single fallen dream.
From the tall grass,
on her back, petting the dog.
she views the fish who swim in the moon,
ever drifting closer to space.
The shooting stars head to earth,
if she could only reach out and catch one.
But they pay no attention to her wish,
living the last of their lives.
The days that won't change forever,
she loves and hates them.
Afraid to ever leave,
this world is her everything.
But she closes her eyes,
the flapping of a paper shower
whispering and shouting
"it will be all right."

Gardening Girl/ Astronaut Boy
Gardening Girl/ Astronaut Boy
by me(whatever)
to this song: Merry Merry
If we could spill the contents of our watering can,
on the flowers blooming on the moon
Would they grow large enough to cover the world?
Would I see you again?
If we could blacken our hands in dirt,
planting the fruit trees who spread their roots through the stars
Would the galaxy be held together by our wishes?
Would I see you again?
If I could, say, transcend time,
returning to the seeds of our small smiles
Would our garden extend to banish all the evil in the world?
Would I see you again?
If we could gently fertilize,
the grasses clinging to lonely asteroids
Would we be able to live on them one day?
Would I see you again?
If we could both remove,
the weeds stubbornly born on the sun
Would it shine as bright as my feelings for you?
Would I see you again?
If I could've only said it,
before the storms carried away your smile
Would you return from space?
Would I see you again?
If we could spill the contents of our watering can,
on the flowers blooming on the moon
Would they grow large enough to cover these tears?
Would I see you again?
Would you still be alive?

Cinderella
Cinderella
by me(whatever)
to this song: Endless Waltz
The ropes are drawn
you, who have been hiding in the shadows
suddenly shines.
"Do you believe in magic?"
a ridiculous question.
But if it's now,
even if I'm late...
An entourage of spangle
I remember that dream I had so long ago
Someone like me,
covered in ashes from my past
rescued with a miracle?
But even if I meet you now
will you recognize me?
Beauty twirling in this illusion,
You spot my eyes as they linger
grasp my hand
tightly, gently
lead me into dance.
Surely everything will disappear,
as soon as I open my eyes.
After all,
how could I be so happy?
The darkness hidden in light,
the light hidden in darkness.
Soon they will wed
in these stars above us,
I'm slowly enveloped in a desperate hope.
The second stage suddenly begins,
I'm finding myself being buried
in these envious eyes.
This spell twisting the runs of my fate,
are they twisting the way you look at me?
If I could just run away,
If I could just stay here.
And at the strike of midnight,
the strike of a cruel hand
to unravel this magic.
I had almost believed...
The dream upholding my existence,
smashed to smithereens.
Running down these steps
I remember every farewell
in these glass shards cutting into me.
How about one more waltz?
And the girl runs crying into the dark forest
Once again,
after a brief rendezvous,
Shadows return to the dark...
Or does a light hide within the trees?
Deep within.
My one wish to meet you
used up my life amount of miracles.
The pumpkin shrinks in rotted glory
and the rats scamper through the mud
tracking their prints all over me.
At the morning bell,
my mistress slaps me to an awakening.
Carrying buckets of water
rushing to and fro through the daylight
avoiding to get stung with these feelings.
As the sun goes down
the girl of shadows watches her prince ride across the sky,
in a large boat made of the moon.
As the restlessness settles,
the girl remembers an illusion.
Twisting over,
she outlines in the ashes of her cinder
a fairy godmother.
weeping like a child
as she says farewell.
by me(whatever)
to this song: Endless Waltz
The ropes are drawn
you, who have been hiding in the shadows
suddenly shines.
"Do you believe in magic?"
a ridiculous question.
But if it's now,
even if I'm late...
An entourage of spangle
I remember that dream I had so long ago
Someone like me,
covered in ashes from my past
rescued with a miracle?
But even if I meet you now
will you recognize me?
Beauty twirling in this illusion,
You spot my eyes as they linger
grasp my hand
tightly, gently
lead me into dance.
Surely everything will disappear,
as soon as I open my eyes.
After all,
how could I be so happy?
The darkness hidden in light,
the light hidden in darkness.
Soon they will wed
in these stars above us,
I'm slowly enveloped in a desperate hope.
The second stage suddenly begins,
I'm finding myself being buried
in these envious eyes.
This spell twisting the runs of my fate,
are they twisting the way you look at me?
If I could just run away,
If I could just stay here.
And at the strike of midnight,
the strike of a cruel hand
to unravel this magic.
I had almost believed...
The dream upholding my existence,
smashed to smithereens.
Running down these steps
I remember every farewell
in these glass shards cutting into me.
How about one more waltz?
And the girl runs crying into the dark forest
Once again,
after a brief rendezvous,
Shadows return to the dark...
Or does a light hide within the trees?
Deep within.
My one wish to meet you
used up my life amount of miracles.
The pumpkin shrinks in rotted glory
and the rats scamper through the mud
tracking their prints all over me.
At the morning bell,
my mistress slaps me to an awakening.
Carrying buckets of water
rushing to and fro through the daylight
avoiding to get stung with these feelings.
As the sun goes down
the girl of shadows watches her prince ride across the sky,
in a large boat made of the moon.
As the restlessness settles,
the girl remembers an illusion.

SKYFISH
SKYFISH
by me(whatever)
to this song: Song of the Ancients Fate
inspired by this song(sorta): Miku Hatsune- Sky Fish
Wanderer,
swimming in this empty ocean sky,
something like scales
glinting against the sun.
SKYFISH
a song like mourning, lamenting?
twisted in these clouds
like the foam against the crashing waves
leaving behind, forgetting?
Surely that day I was in the water,
but flipped over against the mighty mirror
I found a new life...
Undefined, sifting
floating slowly towards a lonely space
full of stars and comets
things that if,
if I return
I'll be burned.
I only wanted
a pair of wings
Dirty, dirty occasional streams,
always ending up against the current
unheard sorrow
invisible predator
Did I
ever love you?
Forget, forgetting
leaving my weight behind
left of any company.
To the freedom called loneliness.
Well, look look!
don't they look the same?
Same blue, same waves, same currents
same feeling..
Just ignore the ground.
Inside of light,
instead of that shallow darkness
Don't disappear.
Leaving everything behind,
forget, forgetting.
Just keep on flying.
I only wanted
to dream
A million wishes blinking
in the night waters
Even leaving my weight behind,
aren't they still as unreachable as ever?
But I will not return.
Even this song,
twisting in the mind winds
Lamenting, mourning
will forget.
So drying up, cracking skin
scales falling like rain
Dissolving against the anger of the sun
forget, forgetting...
I only wanted
a pair of wings
Wanderer,
Falling in this empty ocean sky,
something like scales
glinting against the sun.
Gone again...

"Us" From Nebulae= Another Attempt
"Us" From Nebulae= Another Attempt
by me(whatever)
to this song: Campanella (Gumi)
Far away,
you pulled out your claws.
I confess,
Even I don't know how this is going to turn out.
Smoke piling,
on the nearby buildings; a ferocious battle.
Envy? Jealousy?
A melody plays over from an unseen window.
Piano interruption,
In an instant I felt "That's all,"
That's all.
You were only part of my gray skies,
followed over from the dreary every days;
but I found over the distance,
an unnatural anxiety stifling in ashes.
Factories start,
with their early morning bells.
Passive faces,
unborn from emotion, don't even meet my eyes.
I knew from the beginning, didn't I?
That it would end up this way.
So here you are,
with all the right tools
to shred me in pieces once again.
It wasn't enough,
for you to believe in.
A "new me" as slippery as a fish,
I couldn't gain traction on it.
As though a million years ago,
I remember the words I heard as my star burst;
into the thousand hues and colors.
One name: Nebula.
Yet so many particles of shining dust,
thrown away
Who are you? Who am I?
There isn't any answer to that anymore.
We were cast into space,
joined in one body as remnants of our previous self.
You were there; I was there.
You were only part of my gray skies;
followed over from the dreary every days.
the "you" with the claws,
is,
right now,
crying.
Over the monochromatic setting,
a white ball is rising to light the way.
The piano plunking below us
fills a nostalgic childhood memory.
Blinking,
Yet more lights scattered in the outer space
The "new me" as slippery as a fish;
It wasn't enough,
for me to believe in.
Piano interruption,
In an instant I felt "That's all,"
That's all.
That's all.
We are both only waiting,
in our colorful floating space dust,
for a day to return,
for 'us' to return...

Pursuing Stars and the Future
Pursuing Stars and the Future
by me(whatever)
Slowly opening my eyes,
viewing a moon the size of my palm,
I held my tears against my pillow.
burrowing further into my blankets,
an empty exhaustion suddenly overtakes.
Because I realized who I was,
at last,
I escaped into a vision of stars.
Unexplainable darkness curtains
from the ceiling to my invisible toes.
A goddess talking outside the room,
a long, long way away from here.
Alone with the ghosts around me,
the pen wobbled in my hand,
holding unutterable words
How long do the same days stretch,
ahead of this body reduced to smoke?
How long do I remain here?
How long do I continue to dream?
In the way vapors hold their breath,
I wish to continue this existence pulled of a black hole.
Somehow with the future given me,
please, can I escape my vision of scars?
With the paper clips of another world,
I sent a letter full of cowardly words.
How long do I run away?
Why is the Earth round?
I'm slipping off on the corners-
My mouth is frozen to my tongue,
winding phrases only heard
by the shadows in my bedroom.
If you stopped to notice,
you'd realize the future is unmeasurable.
Drifting like dust to disappear,
I coldly collect abandoned things.
Raveling with a wind sent of constellations,
I collect my visions of stars.
A bottle of lint in my closet,
I spread them around the bottomless sky.
silently watching snow fall through years.
Electric plug connecting to the comet,
clinging desperately to the tail.
I search my empty mind
for a once loved color-
Give it back to me
now.

Left
Left
by me(whatever)
to this song: Miku Hatsune- tautology
If I could reset my wishes,
I would go back to that time
I'm sorry I can't live forever.
The giant moon spins left of me,
ticking in rhythm to the past,
and the stars in their dresses with sprinkles of salt
trickle in my eyes like water.
If I could turn the world backwards,
I would have only a few words left,
"I'm sorry I couldn't sing that song for you"
The hope that burned away like paper,
crinkled in slow transparent warmth,
it turned into ash, and then snow
and then I felt a lamenting song.
If I could somehow make things all right,
and bury your shadow away,
I'm sorry
You'd still be left unsatisfied.

Underneath the World
Underneath the World
by me(whatever)
to this song: Sky Gate [FELT]
Underneath the world,
when I wake in the darkness,
no one to see from anywhere,
snow lighting my footsteps,
My freezing body holding a warm soul.
I still live on like this,
lying to everyone except the moon,
expecting pain from every direction,
yes,
if only I could fly there.
My cheeks iced in red,
the wind beats through my body,
confused about the season,
I still stand out here
waiting for spring to pop up.
I can't help it, you see
I feel so warm,
I could spread
like butter in the night sky,
giving my back to wings,
walking on the milky-way,
never hoping dawn will come
I want to live like this,
watching the green and blue turn far away,
dissolving within the space of time
a harp-played rain,
twinkling down into stars
waltzing like orange city lights,
fearing nothing but the end of the feeling.
Snowflakes twirling in my heart,
creating an ice umbrella that deflects nothing
numb toes and a reflection in my eyes,
giving in and looking down the gravel
I puff out my feet.
Time was short.
if this wind never stops,
even if its comforting with scents of flowers,
I will always be reminded,
of this memory underneath the world
where no one but me resides,
where only I reside,
With the wind, the snowflakes, the rain, the moon, the stars
falling in and out,
and inside out
with this melody.
