I feel like Writing the Sky

I feel like Writing the sky
by me(whatever)
Kenji Kawai- The Sky Crawlers

I feel like writing the sky.
How do I express a feeling like this?

I came across a pathway of light and dark,
stuck my finger into the fog.
Not knowing what to expect,
not knowing where I was to go,

Did I fall through?

I feel like riding the sky.

I feel like writing the wind,
skimming the clouds on winged feet,
plunging into blue,
leaping the stars as stepping stones

I feel like riding the wind.

I want to stare at the sun as she feeds the world,
I want to hold the moon in the palm of my hand.

I want to overturn every star
and keep a treasure-full of wishes there.

I feel like writing the sky,
how do I express a feeling like this?

Because though I've worked hard,
I haven't a penny to show for it,
but the sky stares down at me.

And I wait for the day,
when the wind says my name,
and I am blown away as the feathers of a phoenix.

The sky! The sky!
I feel like riding the sky.

Princess of the Next Life Soon After

Princess of the next Life soon After
by Me(whatever)
Birdy the Mighty: Decode(Ost) Main theme- Side Birdy-

Melancholic Jazz plays as my theme
This is the Revolution of a Girl!
Shatter salt into the Night sky
Move with the power of Love
to the next Life soon after

Become your own Hero,
The Princess was never Saved!
She is the Knight herself
Covered in teary scars and blood
to the next Life soon after

Running like the billowy wind,
The Darkness will hide me!
She screams and holds out in Kindness
The Dragon was defeated
to the next Life soon after

You are the only person in the world
This is my Sky Call!
Powerful beyond Belief
The Feelings were covered
to the next Life soon after

Shallow Tea-cup Sea
Her Beacon of Flight!
Never was such a Glittery Story
Turned into a Heart of Gold

to the next Life soon after?

Take Off, Airplane of Imagination

Airplane of Imagination
*written 8/2/12 By Me(Whatomic)
to this song: 2PM- Take Off(Live)

the night hid everything
And before I knew it
I had blended in with the scenery
What an easy thing to be, right!?

I want to open a magical box
And be transported away
So why can't I move my feet?
Am I truly just a coward?

How long do I have to wait
before I am able to change fate?
I just sit and dream
that's not too bad, though is it?

You watch people pedalling along
Seeming as happy as possible
Please be There
Airplane of my imagination

A Full moon colored Yellow
Still manages to hide itself in the clouds
My clothes still smell of smoke
It sticks to me

Open another door,
one after the other
Airplane of my imagination
Flying away without me

Let me get to the sky
Mutter a few magic words,
and, voila
I'm reborn!

Life is fine as it is isn't it?
Though I want an adventure
This is the world I shall explore!
Airplane of imagination!

Pandora's Rain in The Underworld

Pandora's Rain

*Written by Me(Whatomic) 7/16/12
to this song: Sora kara futtekita Shoujo (All that Jazz- Castle in the Sky Ost) Ghibli
All of the Ghibli 'All that Jazz' songs are amazing; check them out.

Yes, a long time ago
It began and never ended
this spinning melody.

I can smell the rain starting to fall
An old woman walks with her face hidden by her umbrella
You see, I can't hold all of my fears back.

A dark day
Is brighter to me
A roar in the silent wind.

It has fallen again; the illusion.
Enveloping the end of the Earth is a Pandora's box
The one thing left behind by you is Hope.

Shh,
The eyes are slowly closing on your Heart
Only the patter of Rain is sounding.

SAYA IN UNDERWORLD

So yeah, totally changing subjects from nostalgic rainy thinking to Japanese Horror; I found a new site! Well actually, I was recommended and pressed to read it by my brother who is an avid Horror fan. The blog I'm talking about is SAYA IN UNDERWORLD. It's a blog where 'Saya' has translated a whole bunch of Japanese Horror stories into English At first I was skeptical since I'm typically a non-horror story person( I was when I was little, but then I decided I liked my sleep more), but when I actually went on I was surprised that I couldn't stop reading them one after another. They're so interesting! The scariest one I have come across so far is 'The Red Room'. It makes me shudder to think about it. Ick. But I must thank my brother who told me about it. Thanks Mass- and- Inertia! I doubt I will sleep anymore!

I listen to Raujika-Bamboo when I read the stories. A link to the blog is also in 'The blogs I'm following List' at the side of the page to the right among the clutter of gadgets(sorry about that).

Boredom; I'm the Same Word

Don't you want something unexplainable to happen? Something like an adventure to another world, or super powers, or a mysterious person who you happen to find out their true identity. Something exciting like that. Ahh, I want it to happen so bad to me. I think most people agree with me, though the critics are always there nagging me to get up and look at the 'so-called' reality. What if this world and the 'reality' we seem to accept as normal, was actually the places in someones dream? And what if our dreams created new worlds out of scratch from our unconscious data? What if some people could find a way to seep into their dream-worlds and explore them consciously? Like in a physical body? I would have a field day with that, if only. I'm getting some nice ideas from 'The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya'.

I haven't done anything productive this entire summer. I feel sluggish and good for nothing. Most of all, bored. I'm So Bored!!!!!!!!! Someone give me an adventure! I'll even say Please! Someone Please give me an adventure!!!! Cherry on top? Or will I have to search for one myself? Most likely. Tch, typical 'so-called' reality.

I'm the Same Words as the Worlds Questions
 by me(whatomic)
written to this song: Arrietty's song

Turn me large, turn me small
I'm the same
spinning in this different world
And the words....

I want to know even more
what these feelings are like
running in my own perception
I might hit the ground,

But,
I'm still living, aren't I?
again with the unanswerable questions
they spin me

See, the sun still arises
over the tiny horizon I am unsatisfied with
Again and Again, over and over again
Is this my answer from the world?

Or, am I still hidden in the dark
from all the mystery's I can never seem to find
Ah, Well
Shall I just follow the moon?

Just, I simply don't feel it
Is it over there, over the hill they say has greener grass?
Maybe, but you know
I'm still contradictive

On that.

Listen; Jump, Fly!

Listen; Jump, Fly!

*written by Me the Whatomic
*Written to this song: Tsuki ni Kakuse shichou no yume (one of Shangri la's ending songs) by Midori

Jump! Fly! Listen!
The dream of a butterfly.
Glow,
cherished by the dew
where are you hiding?
Come out.

Silver Moon searching to light your face
Falling one by one.
Far,
beyond this sky
The dream of a sorrow
Jump! Fly! Listen!

Shooting Gold across the horizon
Jump! Fly! Listen!
The sound of a heartbeat
Still believing.
The dream of a caged canary
Singing,

A miracle of a stringed sleep,
Gently,
Watching night clouds fade away.
Jump! Fly! Listen!
That place so far away!
The dream of the Wind

Where are you hiding?
I continue my search for the sun
Though,
Jump! Fly! Listen!
The dream of mine
Come out.

The Heart-Warming Friendship God only knows

Today I have decided to write about how I met my best friend.

Well, actually, before we start, I would like to straighten something out. I never have best friends. I simply have friends closer to me than others. I don't like to label my friends because of what I think of them. Good. Now that you understand, I'll tell you the completely ordinary story of how I met my closest friend.

(No doubt you have one of your own, right)

Well, it was in P.E. class in seventh grade if I remember correctly. It's something weird, but whenever you try to remember when and where you became friends with someone, you never can remember everything. It's something like Meeting amnesia. Well, anyways, we were supposed to get into groups for something I can't remember. I asked her to join my group. It was pretty simple; my habit of asking interesting people who are alone to join me in my weirdness. Normal people are annoying to me after all(I'm probably even more annoying to them *sweat*). Anyways, it turns out that we had a lot of similarities in thinking, so we became friends. I haven't met a lot of people like that, who share my wave length to the extent she has. I'm so happy I have my weird habits. They're like my good luck charms. An abstract kind of good luck maybe. Haha. They can also bring me sorrow though. I ignore it.

Was that story heart-warming to you? Good.

I like "The World God Only Knows" Ost.(It's an anime FYI). Here's some of my favorites: Arifureta RealDare mo shira nai...Hashiri Dashitara Tomare nai Shoujo,   Koi no ShirabeKoi-Kuchizuke made no kyori(Main theme). Don't feel obligated to listen to all of them, but listen to the last one at least. It's me favorite.

This is a shorter post, but before we go, RANDOM QUESTION:

Do you have a journal?

Scary Stories per Second-CAvEs

Summer is s  o    b  o r  i   n  g! It's still hard to believe school is really over. It's pretty bittersweet, I guess. I have to write a lot these two months. One of the things I have to write is a short horror story that came up as a challenge. My mother, 2 oldest brothers, and I(maybe a few other peeps) are doing a horror story contest. The end date to get it in is the last day of June. I gotta get cracking. I'll post it up here when it's done. The idea is kind-of weird.

Here's my three favorite soundtrack songs from the movie '5 centimeters per second' for you romantic but dumped people: One more time, One more chance(Masayoshi Yamazaki) (the lyrics to this one are beautiful, look them up if you have time to see what they mean). One more time, One more chance piano version self explanatory. 05-Kiss part of soundtrack.

Here's a short story(really short) that I wrote on a whim yesterday. You won't get it unless you're part of my family, since it's made up of inside jokes and people close to me. However, I'm going to write it down here, nonetheless.

CAVES
written yesterday

In the dark depths of an underground cave, there lies the creature called the Devil. Now, some might misunderstand and say that his name is actually DEVIN, but I know better, since I'm the highly esteemed narrator, so ignore them. Anyways, this Devil, oh, I mean, THE Devil, resides in the cave below mine(I am a troll, but how I came to be one is another story) and I can hear the voices of suspicious activities from below when I'm trying to get my wart-treatment sleep. Most of these 'activities' sound somewhat like a mix of rap music, angry voices, and a clicky arcade. The noise keeps persisting late into the night, and while I am generally a kind neighbor, my warts are hazardly decreasing in size and population. After another night of a commonly loud activity-filled night, my patience dwindled into nothingness, and I stomped out of my cave down the steps heading towards the underworld. I stopped in front of the entrance to his cave, however, because I realized it would be foolishness to take him one alone. So instead, I turned to his next door neighbor, the Mummy. Now, the Mummy worked the grave-shift, so I wasn't sure if she would be there, but I tried the door bell anyway. The try resulted in failure-no one answered. Sighing, I turned away, and was about to walk into the entrance of the Devils cave to take him on alone, when a barking sounded from behind me. Whirling around, I was face to face with Cerberus; the 2-headed dog. I would have to get past the dog to get to the Devil. I took my battle stance. The mutt growled and growled, and just as I was about to pummel him, a horrible stench erupted from one of his heads. It was so gruesome, I turned and ran back to my cave of sanctuary. I had heard of fellow trolls mentioning that the Devil called Cerberus by an alternate name of Butt-head. Now I finally understood why.

Remembering that odor was so traumatizing, that I never attempted to scold the Devil again. A week later I found the answer to my pains. Beautiful, Beautiful ear plugs.

Tiny Waltzes, Tiny Puzzles; Tiny Thoughts

Puzzle Waltz

Little puzzle waltz keeps dancing,
around and around and around.
The tiny clock keeps ticking,
tick and tock, tick and tock

Oh, all the labyrinths I find myself in,
just whirl around somberly in my mind,
around and around and around;
Never hitting a corner to a way out

The small bird keeps singing,
note by note, note by note.
And our feet keep walking,
step by step, step by step

Hey, have you ever found yourself alone?
Nowhere to go?
A whispering voice told me so;
around and around and around

Again, if I could return
to that land that contained those blossoms,
little by little, time will tell
to dance that waltz with you?

Brothers at Four O'clock

Stuff likes to happen here. It likes to follow. Life is busy. And journey. Again.
Ah, my eldest brothers home.

Four O'clock
By Whatomic
*written to this song: Bratja- Brothers

Once,

A girl all alone
                                enduring
stared into vicious words
buried herself                       hid
                          From them
Locked her eyes of ice
on a screen of joyous lies
And watched...
                             only watched...
The clock

                      Turning later..
                                                and later...

Twice,

A girl wished
                        On the whole sky
Still of stars
                       Unbelieving
In her own words
heard                                  Silence
          Faltering
                               at the noise
of her gears...
                                 Screeching..
And growing...

                          slower...

                                                 and slower...

Thrice,

A girl waited
                               For someone
To save her
                            because
She wanted                              To keep
                     her hands clean
                                                 however
she waited...
                      And waited...
                                              and waited...
while the clocks hands
                                        had already
long...
                             stopped.

Clover Spring

Life is tough. I haven't just figured this out, but it always renews it's meanings for me. It's annoying. Yeah.

My oldest brother is coming home next week! I just figured this out yesterday. I'm happy, I guess. I haven't seen him in a loooong time. It's gonna be weird.

I can already feel the end of spring break creeping up on me...I HATE IT. It's like a giant shadow monster that looms up from behind you when you're having a good time. It's full of spiders, ...and ... unfinished homework(eep!).  I DOn't WanNA!

Last post was really weird, I apologize. Please don't try to puzzle it all out, it was just my weirdness. A weirdness unaccompanied by common sense or reason. Isn't that called "Randomness?" If it is, then I have succeeded in my mission on Earth. I shall now leave to the nearest solar system.

So enough of my unfinished, disconnected sentences. Here, against my, and your better judgement, is ANoTHer poem. I'm going to shrivel up and die if I write too many more of these. My creativity with seep out of my hands! Oh no!

By the way, this wasn't supposed to be a love poem, but I read over it, and that's a bit the way it sounds. I guess you can translate it as a lovey-dovey couple, but that really isn't what I was talking about when I was writing this. But whatever. Be free of my rambling.

*written to Clover by Meg Rock,The opening song from the anime Solty Rei.
the song is also in my playlist at the bottom of this page. It's #67.
I used some ideas from it, and a few words, such as "If it's to find happiness, I'll find it myself", sort-of thing.

Clover Passion

It's not there,
the "forever" we promised
faded away

Hey

Did you see it fly away?
I'm not ready yet,
but
If it's to find happiness
I'll find it myself

Again,
another depression
of no visible control
Angry words
listen closely,
they hold some truth

Hey

I can scream out
"Forever!" just for now
I am strong enough
To run away
                             And it's not heard

But it's the same
Isn't it?
                   And            I     Know

that Kindness
                                is fake
However
                the end hasn't arrived.

"Forever"

Hey

If I took a look into your eyes
I could feel my own determination,

Even if it's a lie
It's Real           And
You are
made of the words
you say for now

Hey

we're not ready yet
I know that

"Forever"

I just want to
feel today
hit my bones

Is happiness
something people look far off to
And ignore
the ones at their feet?   Well,

It's still the same
                            still a lie
And that kindness is
one I want to believe in.
                                         Is it far away?
I
                                      don't know

Hey

I'm not ready yet
but I know
it's not there
though
"Forever"
Sounds nice for now.

One Day Being Brave

*Written to this song: Aoi Tada- Brave song (Angel Beats! ending song)

One Day
written by whatomic (me)

One day

The trap will fail

The shoes will walk
                                     Far
The rain will nourish

The papers will scatter away,

And the bird will fly
                                      Far

 One day

The letters will reach

The clock will start
                                     Song
The stream will become the ocean

The weapons will stay,

And the bird will sing
                                      Song

One day

The game will stop

The sounds will fade
                                     Above
 The strings will attach

The cage will break,

And the bird will sleep
                                      Above

One day

I won't be

Alone.

Again.

Only to Find You

*written to this song: Heartstrings ost- What do you want me to do. Watch the drama if you have a chance. This poem is about me and the person I have never met.

Only to Find You
 by me 1/15/12

Here is my pen,
Here is my heart.
keeping me awake,
I never want to part.

I don't know you,
But I will know you someday.
Stirring in my sleep,
I remember what you say.

I guess I always knew,
that you're made of imagination.
Only mine,
Waiting at a lonely station.

I will find you,
These letters I've always written.
Will they reach you so far away?
My hope is bitten.

I will go on living,
only to love you.
And if  I can't find you,
I will search until I do.

Stars who Fall in Love

It's Christmas Break.....and Christmas is in like two days. Well, I still gotta get a good present for my big brother(mass and Inertia). I just need money.  Ugh.

I haven't done practically anything this entire break. I mean, it was my birthday and all, but it wasn't much of a big deal. My birthdays are always fun, but I'm just getting too used to them. I got a an Mp3 player that has a touch-screen from my father, and 20 bucks for mp3's on Amazon from my mother. I  also went and got Asian food. Twice. The sushi was delicious. Especially the fish eggs on top:)*everybody cringes*.

Today I had so much pent up energy (which is why I'm writing at midnight), that I knew I wouldn't be able to fall asleep. Because of this, I took off at 11:00 to the nearest park with my brother's dog (Charlie) and ran around several time until I felt exhausted but not quite. My brother also caught up with me when I got there and also ran a few times. Charlie, of course, was a bad puppy and kept running in our way and biting at us(well, mostly my withered sleeves). I loved it. The night was beautiful. I love night-time. It's a bit scary sometimes, but there is a calmness that erodes that fright and just makes you feel a little bit happy. Stars are my favorite thing of all.

I have a question for you. Do you think you'll ever Fall In Love ?

To the Star whom I've fallen In Love

My words alone cannot express,
How I've always thought of you
alone; you reached out to me,
kissing me with drops of dew.

I always thought that I,
could never reveal my weakness's to anyone
that the world was my enemy,
You told me not to run.

When I'm asleep I miss you,
holding on with bitter fears,
I stay awake only to see you,
carrying all my tears.

When all of my stories fall into place,
maybe I'll see you again
I'll practice my wishes and Dreams,
and if your sad, I'll send them then.

The Secret worlds of Thanksgiving, Ghibli neighbors, and 1 year of 100

So today was Thanksgiving. I think the reason people just skip Thanksgiving is because it's not a holiday with too much excitement. And it's right smack in the middle of the two most exciting holidays of the year. Well, that's kind-of what happened to me today. We went to my grandma's house, ate turkey, Lot's of pie, played a few games, visited with our relations, and after all that I fell asleep. I must be getting old. I mean, only old people actually fall asleep after eating turkey. It was the turkey. It attacked me with sheep jumping over fences. Noooo!, I'm not even 20, yet why? I've even seen white hairs! It got me when my guard was down and I was reading.

I think it's been about a year since I started writing in this blog. An English assignment turned into my personal diary. Well, not exactly personal. I have gotten more than 100 views! Thanks everybody for reading my weirdness! I hope you like it. I'm still pretty inexperienced, so be patient with me, I'm still figuring all this technology stuff out. Yeah! How weird it is....

I really love all the Ghibli movies. I've watched practically all the ones done by director Hayao Miyazaki. Anyways, a good, cute, comedy film that most people ignore is My neighbors the Yamadas. It's pretty much just about a normal family, and the animation isn't what you would call "detailed", but it's one of the funniest movies I've ever watched. The song I want to show you is from that film. It's the ending song. Here:Quit being alone. Hope you enjoy!

Secret World Mon. 11/21/11

Immediately,
I follow,
a path of dreams,
covering pain and grief.

Suddenly,
I take,
a small, fluffy hand,
My best friend.

Beautifully,
I feel,
Millions of shooting stars,
I reach out.

Impatiently,
I hope,
while falling into clouds,
that my alarm clock would die!

*didn't write this to any particular tune. This is my love of the dream world I've created in my head. Hope you enjoy!

Desiderium

It feels weird to read over the posts I did for my English class. They're really......lame. Anyways, nobody knows (yay, Suga Shikao! did anyone get that?) about this blog, and I think I intend to keep it that way. I'm a bit of a shy person, after all. I've been pretty bored lately, as it is summer, and I need to take a shower 'cause my hair is greasy(yuk). It seems Summer is coming to a rapid close.  It actually doesn't feel as bad as I thought it would be. I can deal with school, though it's tiresome. There's one question I'm dreading, though.  It's the ever classic " so what did you do this summer?" question invented by the teachers.  Like they're implying I actually Had to do something.  Isn't the point of summer to do nothing, and sleep in being the laziest person you possibly can?  Human logic is all backwards. Anyways, I'm changing the subject.

None of you know this except for my family, but I'm a huge fan of anime soundtracks. Of course that means I like anime too. A film can be decided in it's awesomeness because of the music, like a horror movie. Sound is not everything, of course, there also has to be the general shivers of art, humor, and above all epic cheesiness. And leading up to my main point, Here is Desiderium, which is from maho shoujo madoka magica. It gives me a nice feel. I also like Postmeridie. Just little 'ol life. You know? Anyways, I'm hungry, and I'm done writing for the moment. laters!

True Journey 7/26/11

I never knew how to begin,
alone with a beating summer
chasing a dream from a tiny stream
smaller from resolving heat

I can't go on forever,
though I can feel whenever
from my hand to the sky
and a blue afternoon
lifting off the clouds
a true self abounds
courageously into the sun

I also want to change
and find her, my other side
Journeys of my past
though little to abide

Orange rain in my window
running melodies of calm
never resting to hear
a painful downpour

* I wrote this listening to this song.  "Summer" by Joe HIsaishi (from the film Kikujiro)
